The purple latte craze is sweeping the internet and we were on board from the moment we laid eyes on it! Taro lattes are caffeine-free, chock-full of nutrients, and obviously GORGEOUS. We gave it a superfood boost with our coffee creamer.
Taro is a tropical root vegetable that grows in a variety of colors including, most famously, purple. It's light, sweet flavor and nutrient density has made it a delicacy among Pacific Islanders for hundreds of years. Here's what you need to make a superfood taro latte:

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of diced taro or 3 tablespoons of taro powder
- 3 tablespoons of NeuRoast Classic Coffee Creamer
- 6-8 oz of hot water
- 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
Instructions (Easy)
- Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Skip to Step 3 if you're using taro powder.
- Boil 1/2 cup of diced taro until fork tender.
- Using a blender or handheld frother, mix taro, coffee creamer, hot water, and honey until frothy.
- Serve

- Boil 1/2 cup of diced taro until fork tender.
- Strain taro, saving 6-8 ounces of water used to boil the taro and set aside.
- Mash taro thoroughly.
- Using a blender, blend taro water, coffee creamer, honey, and mashed taro until smooth and frothy.
- Serve.
